Psychedelic Cow
"Psychedelic Cow" wasn’t always meant to be called that. The painting began as a reflection on animal cruelty, particularly toward cows and a tribute to the Nepalese Hindu tradition of honoring cows as sacred beings. In Hindu culture, cows are deeply respected for the nourishment they provide through milk, and this belief inspired the use of red and yellow, colors often seen in sacred rituals and celebrations.
The first version of this painting sold before the paint had even dried. When I shared it on Facebook, someone commented and called it the “Psychedelic Cow” a name that felt completely different from the heavy message I had intended, yet strangely fitting in its own way. The name stuck. Now, this is the third version of "Psychedelic Cow", each one unique, each one a continuation of the message.
